王洪波（Hongbo Wang)

      王洪波现任上海纽约大学社会学实践副教授。加入上海纽约大学前，王教授曾在芝加哥大学担任博士后研究员，在香港科技大学担任研究助理教授和讲师。王教授于2008年在加州大学洛杉矶分校获得社会学博士学位。

      王教授的主要教学方向为社会统计学及数据科学。十多年来在本科及研究生阶段为学生授课，王教授在相关课程的教学方面积累了丰富的经验。他的教学以对教育、移民及健康等相关领域的关注及实际议题为出发点。作为一名具有多年学术训练的人口学家及社会学家，王教授的研究兴趣主要包括通过定量方法研究社会不平等现象及基于大数据分析方法的社会科学研究。
