孙翔现任上海纽约大学化学助理教授、纽约大学全球特聘助理教授。加入上海纽约大学前,他曾任密歇根大学博士后研究员。孙教授在布朗大学化学获得博士学位,在中国科学技术大学获得化学物理学士学位。
孙教授的研究兴趣包括开发用于模拟复杂分子系统(如液体,表面,生物分子和纳米材料)中化学动力学的理论和计算方法。他的主要研究目标为在分子水平上获得电子和振动激发如何影响原子级化学反应的机制和结果的理解。
