张珂慧现任上海纽约大学心理学访问助理教授。张教授在密歇根大学安娜堡分校获得教育学与心理学博士学位、心理学硕士和教育学硕士学位,在宾夕法尼亚州立大学获得学士学位。
张教授的研究兴趣为人类语言和读写能力习得。她的研究旨在探索不同文化背景下儿童学习语言所需的通用技能和特定语言技能,并考察双语环境如何对语言和读写能力发展产生影响。她的研究兴趣还包括阅读障碍(如诵读困难)背后的机制并致力于探索促进儿童语言学习的有效干预措施。张教授的研究融合了行为科学和脑部成像技术,例如使用功能性近红外光谱成像(fNIRS)等,来探索阅读习得过程中所涉及的神经认知机制。
