Professor Geoffery Zheng is an Assistant Professor of Finance at NYU Shanghai. Professor Zheng earned his Ph.D. at UCLA, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Chicago. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Brookstone Partners in New York City.
 
Professor Zheng's research has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Financial Economics, and Management Science. His work has been cited by media outlets and policy makers, including the Economist, and ProMarket. His primary research interests focus on how heterogeneity impacts markets.
