Academic Affairs supports NYU Shanghai’s community of scholars, its shared ideals, and core values. Together with the University’s Deans, Area Heads, and Directors, Academic Affairs provides opportunities, infrastructure, and resources to encourage and enable faculty and students to meet the rigorous demands of an NYU Shanghai education and pursue their finest work.
Academic Affairs' main responsibilities include academic advising, academic skills building, and academic support for students, governance of academic policies and processes, supporting curricular innovation and teaching excellence, and developing learning opportunities for students inside and outside of the classroom as well as within the NYU Global Network.
