Academic Resource Center

Welcome to the Academic Resource Center (ARC)!

Our mission at the Academic Resource Center (ARC) is to assist students in developing the knowledge base, skills, and strategies that will help them to become confident, independent, and active learners. The ARC offers both one-on-one tutoring and group sessions, as well as a wide range of academic support services aimed at helping students meet the challenge of NYU's rigorous academic standards.

About Fall 2025 ARC Services

This semester, the ARC will be offering a variety of academic support services for students enrolled in NYU Shanghai courses. Students are welcome to walk into the ARC to meet with Discipline Learning Assistants for support in STEM, Business, Economics, and Chinese Language courses. Additionally, students can meet with Writing & Speaking Learning Assistants, who can provide assistance with specific questions related to writing, speaking, reading, or listening in English. Whether you're tackling challenging course content, working on a paper, preparing for a presentation, or developing study and personal skills, the ARC is here to support your academic success.
