NYU Shanghai First-Year Doctoral Summer Camp

NYU Shanghai First-Year Doctoral Summer Camp is an annual event open to new research doctorate (PhD or related degree) students from any NYU school who are located in China or can travel to China without needing university visa sponsorship. The Camp is designed to give new students a formative experience that eases the transition into one’s doctoral studies and move to New York City. Activities foster early social bonds and interdisciplinary connections, celebrate NYU Violet pride, introduce NYU resources that relate to student life and support, and provide an unforgettable experience on NYU Shanghai’s campus.
