I am a senior from Johannesburg, South Africa, majoring in Interactive Media Arts and minoring in Social Science and Computer Science. My academic interests lie in game design and new media politics, particularly AI governance. As a tutor, I believe that learning is not only about acquiring knowledge, but also about discovering how we can express and connect with the world around us. Outside of my studies, I create board games, video games, and playful, community-centered experiences.

Hi! I'm Maile from California, USA. I'm majoring in Computer Science and minoring in IMA and Cinema Studies. My ultimate career goal is to work in VFX one day, but who knows if that'll happen. Along those lines, I love watching movies and exploring new neighborhoods in my free time - would love any recs! I specialize in writing and public-speaking help. I used to struggle a lot with my reading and writing, and eventually learned a process that works for me. My name is Milana Yang, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Business and Finance. I’ve always been drawn to reading and writing because I enjoy exploring different perspectives and finding meaningful ways to communicate complex ideas. I especially enjoy helping students strengthen their essay structure, literary analysis, literature reviews, clarity, coherence, and overall academic writing. My tutoring philosophy is centered on creating a supportive environment where critical thinking and creativity can thrive, helping students build confidence and refine their own unique style as writers. Outside of academics, I enjoy drawing, reading, cooking, and discovering new places around the city.
