Jianye Wang is the Honorary Co-Director of the Volatility Institute at NYU Shanghai. Previously Wang held various positions at the International Monetary Fund, and served as Adjunct Professor of Economics at Peking University’s School of Economics. He holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Columbia University and a BA from Peking University.
Wang was a Fulbright Scholar, a recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and the IMF African Department Best Staff Report Award.
