Jing Chen is the Graduate Coordinator of Business, the Capstone Director of the MSOMS (Master of Science in Organization Management and Strategy) Program jointly offered by NYU Stern and NYU Shanghai (Video), and a Professor of Practice in Management and Strategy at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she was Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy in the department of strategy and innovation at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. She holds a PhD from Florida International University and an MA and BA from Nanjing University.

Professor Chen's research interests are entrepreneurship, strategic human capital management, and dynamics of young firms. Her work has appeared in Management Science, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Journal of Economics & Management Strategy.
