Magali Kerbellec

Magali holds a Master Degree in Linguistics and Pedagogy from the Université d’Orléans (France).

She has worked for almost 25 years abroad teaching French as a Foreign Language, Business French and French for Specific Purposes at several universities such as Regent’s University London, London Metropolitan University, Misurata University (Libya), the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (China). In addition to her academic experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, as a freelancer, she taught French to professionals in various companies. 

Prior to her position as Senior Language lecturer of French at NYU Shanghai, she served as a French team coordinator, Examination Officer, Virtual Learning Environment Officer and Language exchange coordinator. Her expertise is driven by the appropriation a variety of specialist methods and tools (including digital tools) for the design and promotion of linguistic programs responding to the particular needs of students and particular requirements of each institution she works with.

In addition to her teaching experience, she was trained as an item writer for the French official test (TCF) and as an examiner for the French certifications (DELF/DALF) at France International Education. She also designed French educational activities online for publishing houses.
