Beyond research and teaching, she worked closely with the Bangkok-based theater group Crescent Moon Theater and produced several theatrical pieces on the issues of femininity, migration, and inequality in contemporary Thailand. She also participated in art and cultural events organized by the Thai theater network and performed in a theatrical production at the Bangkok Theater Festival.
Previously, she has held a teaching position at Chiang Mai University.
