Xiaodong (Sheldon) Yang is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Operations Management and Business Analytics at NYU Shanghai. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on the marketing-operations interface, and his work has been published in leading business journals, including Production and Operations Management and the Journal of Retailing.
