Xiaoyue Huang is a Senior Language Lecturer of Chinese at NYU Shanghai. She joined NYU Shanghai in 2014. Before joining NYUSH, she worked for the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language and taught in a range of Chinese language programs, including the University of Virginia’s Chinese Summer Program, Washington and Lee University Summer Program, EMLYON Business School Asian Campus, Cultural Experiences Abroad and so on. She has extensive experience teaching Chinese in diverse contexts and to learners of different backgrounds. She is skilled in applying the communicative approach and the audio-lingual method in language teaching. She is particularly interested in exploring emerging trends in language education, such as integrating AI tools to enhance learner self-regulation.
