Ying Rong is an Adjunct Professor of Operations Management and Business Analytics at NYU Shanghai. He is concurrently a Professor in the Management Science department at Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of Economics and Management, where he has taught since 2010. Rong holds a PhD and MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Lehigh University and a BS in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research, specializing in service operation, operations in emerging business models, and supply chain management, has been widely published and recognized with grants and awards.
