Institutional Research

NYU Shanghai Institutional Research (IR) is an administrative function in response to internal and external needs of university data, such as data reporting, governmental assessments, accreditation, modeling, decision support, etc. IR works with various academic and administrative departments (AKA Data Owners) to collect, assemble, clean, and standardize existing operational data to create consistent cross-department datasets and store them in a data warehouse.
