NYU Shanghai closed out the Fall 2023 semester in style with end-of-semester performances, concerts, and exhibitions that showcased students’ achievements. Through dance, music, and visual arts, they showcased the vibrancy and diversity of the NYU Shanghai community.
Fall Choral Showcase
November 27 - Performances by NYU Shanghai’s Faculty-Staff (Fasta) Choir, A capella, and Octave Fusion.
Fall Dance Concert, “Passage”
December 3 - Students from Ballet, Contemporary, Dances of Northern China, Choreography & Performance, Intermediate Ballet, and Piano transformed NYU Shanghai’s main gymnasium into an expressive stage for their performances during the Fall Dance Concert, “Passage.”
End-of-Semester Concert
December 4 - NYU Shanghai’s Recital Hall was rocking with performances by NYU Shanghai Sinfonietta, Jazz Ensemble, Octave Fusion, A cappella, and Chorale.
"Foundations of Visual Arts Did What?! (Shocking)
Students in the Foundations of Visual Arts course presented their visual art works from December 2-8 in the B2 gallery space.
Piano Concert
December 7 - The Piano concert featured students performing four hands and solo repertoires.
IMA students presented their final projects in a show on Friday December 8.
