Fanghua Lin, Co-Deputy Director of the NYU-ECNU Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU Shanghai, was elected into the 2015 class of Fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) "for contributions to partial differential equations, geometric measure theory, calculus of variations, and applied analysis."
