NYU Shanghai Students Receive Free Library Cards From Pudong Library

August 24, 2015 -- NYU Shanghai students from the Class of 2019 gathered in the Pudong Library lecture hall along with Chancellor Yu as Weihong Su,the director of the Pudong Library, presented the newly admitted students a generous contribution of free library cards.

The card may be used at any public library in Shanghai and students can conveniently return any of the borrowed books directly to the NYU Shanghai campus library, where the two libraries are working to offer a "branch " library primarily featuring books in Chinese.

The students showed their appreciation for the warm welcome and generosity extended to them by the city. This grand gesture not only promotes a closer-knit, more enriched community, but is the perfect support for the start of an educational journey.
