NPC Vice Chair and Yenching Academy Dean visit NYU Shanghai

On Aug 16, 2018,  Han Qide, vice chairman of the 10th and 11th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and his wife Yuan Ming, dean of Peking University’s Yenching Academy, came to NYU Shanghai to learn more about the university.

Chancellor Yu Lizhong and Vice Chancellor Jeff Lehman warmly welcomed the two guests and shared with them the history and mission of NYU Shanghai.

Former Vice Chairman Han praised NYU Shanghai for bringing in world class academic resources and cultivating young, global talent in a multicultural environment.

Chancellor Yu also led the guests on a campus tour, where they visited the interactive media arts workshop, art studio, Health and Wellness Center, Career Development Center and cafeteria.
