Our students are back from spring break enjoying warm weather, good company, and counting down the few precious weeks we have left.
This week we celebrated Go Green Week and contemplated campus sustainability.
Help plan our transformation. How can we individually and collectively support academic excellence while making our university, and the world, a more sustainable place? How can we improve the health and resilience of our community while supporting affordability, diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the global network? NYU Shanghai student Jiaqiao Xiang (Frank), chose to take a gap year studying and traveling to 11 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. With his journey coming to an end, the Anhui native looks back on his year and shares his advice to NYU Shanghai students considering their junior year options.

Agaylord2 already missing spring break
Ngmeizhi Lost almost all of my photos from DSS but the memories will always stay. Beautiful stories and meaningful exchange with the CHF staff about HIV/AIDs in China. Amazing transformations within our own group of students as we still battle the meaning of short term service, our lack of power, the unreal circumstances these people have to go through and how we can be agents of change. This experience reminds me to always stay present, always be right here and always be open to experience new things. We are truly so lucky.
