What is the 2024 I AM LIMITLESS Conference?
The 2024 I AM LIMITLESS Conference, organized by the Center for Career Development, showcased a diverse series of 14 events from 4 categories, designed to empower NYU Shanghai students to navigate their career paths.
This year’s conference included career exploration workshops, industry-focused sessions, and social impact panels that brought together leaders from various fields. Highlights included discussions led by accomplished professionals, peers, and excellent alumni of the NYU Shanghai community. Through these events, we aimed to provide students with the tools and insights necessary to launch impactful careers, fostering a strong sense of leadership and ownership spirit of social impact.

This session introduced the Schwarzman Scholars Program and admission information comprehensively for applicants to prepare quality applications and network with alumni. First-hand experience will be shared by Schwarzman Scholars Alumni, covering topics including campus life, curriculum, career development, and alumni networks.
Design Thinking: Study Away for Social Impact 设计思维：如何在海外学习中创造社会影响力
Co-organized with Academic Advising
The design thinking approach will be introduced in the participatory process of identifying local problems and designing ways to find solutions. Tools will be provided to facilitate students’ self-discovery, preliminary investigation of local issues, and field research. Students will be able to learn design thinking methodology and generate action statements to navigate their study away experience from social aspects.
Co-creating Social Impact: The Integration of Community Service and Leadership Development 共创社会影响力：公益服务与领导力培养的融合

Peer speakers will share their experiences and reflections on volunteering and leadership development through community service. Participants will learn from panelists’ experiences and insights on service learning and leadership development through community service.

The latest policies and resources, as well as the essential skills required by Chinese employers, will be introduced.
