Due to the projected impact of Typhoon Kong-Rey, the university has made the following adjustments of the shuttle buses services:
  • Shuttle bus service will be suspended after 9:30 PM TODAY October 31st. So the last shuttle bus today is at 9:30, leaving from Campus to Residence Hall.
  • On Friday November 1st, the shuttle buses, including both the ECNU Shuttle and the Jingyao Residence Hall shuttle will be suspended for the day.
  • Starting Saturday November 2nd, the shuttle bus service will resume as normal.

NYU Shanghai provides shuttle bus services for community members to commute between the New Bund Campus and ECNU Zhongbei Campus, as well as shuttle buses for the students to commute between the New Bund Campus and Jingyao Residential Halls.

Fall 2024 Updated Service Note :

  • The regular semester shuttle buses for Jingyao Residence in Fall 2024 will start from Monday September 2. The schedule stays the same as the spring 2024 semester.
  • The ECNU shuttle bus service will run as normal.

Important Tips:

  • New arrangements of Loading spots effective Oct 10th, 2024
    • Peak hours (7:30am -10:45am on weekday mornings): Pick-up and drop-off will be moved across the street. Please see below the instruction route showing the loading spot.
    • Non-peak hours & weekends: Pick-up and drop-off will remain in front of All Seasons Hotel (全季酒店).
  • Planning Ahead: We highly recommend that you review your class schedule and bus schedules in advance. This will help you plan which bus(es) to take each day to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.
  • Arrival Time: Shuttle seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest arriving 30-45minutes before your class to ensure you have enough time. For example, If your class starts at 8:15am, aim to take the 7:30 am bus to avoid possible overcrowding on the 7:45 am bus. If everyone who needs to take the bus waits until 7:45am, there may not be enough seats and you might need to find alternative transportation to campus.

Bus schedules for each location are provided below:
