  • Physical Review Letters | Volume 116 Issue 5
    Publication Date:
    February 5, 2016

In a work published in Physical Review Letters Vladas Sidoravicius and his collaborators find that statistical properties in the random hole-drilling model differ significantly from the classical percolation.  The result of their work challenges the conclusions made decades ago which suggested that the random hole-drilling model follows random percolation behavior. The paper extended the understanding of the percolation models, and attracted attention in the field.
